Nesbo’s latest is a horror thriller about an unlikeable young teenager named Richard who is living with his aunt and uncle in a small town.  He does not want to be there and admits that he does everything he can to be despised by his relatives, his classmates, and all the adults around him.  Unfortunately for Richard, he finds himself front and center in a bizarre murder case, and he decides to find out what really happenend before he can be accused of the crime and punished.
